CHANGE YOUR BELIEFS, CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Have you ever wondered why diets and affirmations don't create long-term changes in most people? Have you ever wondered why most people who win the lottery are broke within 5 years? It's because changes in our external circumstances which are not accompanied by changes in our underlying internal beliefs are at best temporary.

When we seek to change our lives by temporarily changing our thoughts, actions or results, we are doomed to fail. This happens because creating our life begins with what we believe about ourselves. Our beliefs about ourselves drive our thoughts which impact our actions and create the results we see in our lives daily. Attempting to short-circuit this cycle by changing thoughts (affirmations) or actions (diets) or results (winning the lottery), without a corresponding change in our beliefs only temporarily changes our lives. Typically, once we have the desired results in our life, we stop the diets or affirmations or spend recklessly. However, since we haven't changed our underlying beliefs, over time we find ourselves in the same situation we were trying to avoid or change.

So how do you change your beliefs? Focus all your energy on what you want in your life: success, prosperity, health, fun, friends, and much more. Here's how:

  • Know what you want
  • Know what having your want looks like
  • Feel what it would be like to have your want
  • Believe that it is possible.
  • Banish doubt.
  • Take daily action consistent with what you want
  • Celebrate each victory along the path to reaching your goal
