Don't Take It PersonallyCreating an atmosphere that promotes appreciation of different behavioral preferences benefits both the individual and family members. Help everyone to: For nearly 30 years and for more than 40 million people, DiSC learning instruments have been used to identify behavioral preferences and help individuals develop an awareness and appreciation for themselves. In addition, learning about the different behavioral styles creates an awareness of and appreciation for what each individual adds to the family. The DiSC assessments provide a non-judgmental, fact-based framework to understand each individual's own natural style as well as understand the behavioral preferences of the other family members. There are 4 behavioral dimensions:
None of these dimensions is better or worse than another. They just represent different strengths and weaknesses. Everyone has a dominant style but generally use traits from among the other behavioral dimensions as well. Harness the power of understanding individuals' behavioral preferences, their strengths and weaknesses and how they can work together effectively. Put this knowledge to work for you. Sharon
